FAQ'S

  • What areas do you cover?
    We deliver within a 20 mile radius from Croydon and cover the areas London, Kent and Surrey. All deliveries made within the small inner circle do not require an additonal delivery charge. All deliveries made within the large outer circle but outside the small circle will be subject to a £25 delivery fee. If you are outside of these areas but wish to hire from us, please do get in touch for a personalised delivery quote. At present we do not offer a collection service.
  • How long is the hire period?
    Unless specifically arranged at the time of booking, all standard hires are based on a total of 1 day. Delivery and Collection times will be confirmed at the time of your booking. If you wish to arrange an extended hire longer than the contracted period of 1 day, please contact us in advance to check the availability of the products and also the costs for the extended hire.
  • Do you set up and style the venue? - TO BE UPDATED
    TO BE UPDATED - Nineteen Fifty Eight is not an event planning company, we are a hire only service and are not responsible to for setting up any hired items unless prior arrangement has been made at the time of booking.
  • What should i do if i need to cancel or amend my booking?
    If wish to cancel your order we need this in writing. Please email us at info@nineteenfiftyeight.co.uk in the first instance. All cancellations or reductions in numbers of items to be hired must then be confirmed in writing and will only become effective on receipt of your cancellation email or letter. Cancellation charges may incur based upon the value of the outstanding balance. This amount will depend on the length of notice we receive from you regarding the cancellation of your booking.
